Abstract
An initiative of Ministry of Education, Indian knowledge system is a drive to utilize the eternal knowledge of Indian civilization accumulated for around thousands of years. Amalgamating it with modern education and technology in all spheres of life has great potential for sustainable life practices and holistic development. It has tremendous capacity to contribute to wellness- comprising of overall mental, emotional, physical, and psychological well-being of people, especially for people facing hardships in their workplace due to difficult nature of their job like the special educators dealing with CWSN. Teaching them yoga meditation, ayurveda and the related concepts from our ancient gems of wisdom during their training and organizing programmes can help them to deal with their personal as well as professional problems with confidence.
