Teachers of vocational education are crucial in influencing people's futures because they convey knowledge and skills that are necessary for success in particular trades and industries. Unlike traditional academic educators, vocational education teachers focus on preparing students for specific careers, equipping them with the hands-on expertise and technical proficiency needed in the workforce. Vocational education instructors' in-service training programs are crucial parts of their professional growth., designed to enhance their skills, keep them updated on industry trends, and ensure they remain effective educators in a rapidly evolving job landscape. These programs play a crucial role in empowering vocational education teachers with the knowledge and tools needed to provide high-quality instruction to their students. Over the past 10 years, improving teachers' abilities through in-service teacher education programs has been one of the most important concerns in the field of vocational education.; As technology continues to play a significant role in education, online distance learning has gained prominence in all over the world, this paper delves into the key components of in-service teacher education for vocational educators, emphasizing the role of online distance learning in providing a flexible, self-paced learning environment. Additionally, this study will compare online and face-to-face modes of professional development programs for vocational education teachers. This article's goal is to examine the advantages, disadvantages, and accessibility of online in-service training for vocational teachers, while evaluating how it compares with traditional in-person approaches in fostering continuous professional development.
