Abstract

Indian rich traditional literature, ethos and values give a right direction to the world in terms of peace, global harmony, co-existence etc. The final draft of NEP 2020 is based on Indian ethos and values and it gives a pedagogical curricular framework to inculcate these values and ethos among students. The objective of research article is to understand the Indian ethos with reference to NEP 2020 and to find the relationship between national curriculum framework, pedagogy, and Indian ethos. The present research article indicated that the NEP 2020 provides an appropriate direction to inculcate Indian values and ethos among students. It also found that a strong relationship between national curriculum framework, pedagogy, and Indian ethos.
