Abstract

Sports tourism has emerged as a significant contributor to regional economies, fostering both economic growth and cultural exchange. In India, the Bundelkhand region, known for its historical and cultural heritage, presents untapped potential for the development of sustainable sports tourism. This study aims to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with sports tourism in Bundelkhand while assessing its sustainability aspects. Through a review of existing literature and case studies, this research provides insights into strategies for promoting sports tourism in the region. This paper includes references sourced from Google Scholar between 2020 and 2025, ensuring an up-to-date analysis of the latest research trends in sports tourism.
