Abstract

Technology is one of humanity's greatest inventions, profoundly influencing our everyday lives. In education, the incorporation of technology can significantly enhance children's learning experiences. The integration of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) into education has the potential to redefine the way students learn and how educators teach. These immersive technologies bring abstract concepts to life, creating interactive and engaging learning environments that go far beyond traditional classroom methods. AR enhances the real world by overlaying digital information onto physical surroundings, while VR immerses students in entirely simulated environments, allowing for experiential learning. This Article explore the transformative role AR and VR can play across various fields of Education, including STEM, medical training, language learning, and vocational education. It also highlights the key benefits, such as improved engagement, better retention, and the ability to provide safe learning spaces for high-risk tasks. However, the adoption of these technologies faces challenges, such as high coasts, the need for teacher training, and the limited availability of quality content. Despite these obstacles, the future of AR and VR in education is promising, with advancements making these tools more accessible and effective in delivering personalized, collaborative, and adaptive learning experiences.
