Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in instilling values that enable learners to lead fulfilling lives aligned with their personal beliefs and societal ideals. Values serve as essential tools for improving ones quality of life, forming the foundation for character and personality development. Innate values such as love, humanity, compassion, kindness, appreciation, and patience nurture external values i.e punctuality, fairness, faith and discipline,. It is most important to note that values are invaluable, in contrast to material things that can be assigned a price. Creating meaningful values requires the integration of various elements within the school system. When values are woven into the overall educational framework, the effectiveness of value impartation increases. Quality teaching allows educators to convey genuine knowledge, fostering the development of values among learners.
