Abstract

This study examines the economic transformation of Uttar Pradesh within the broader vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. It evaluates trends in the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), employment generation, financial inclusion, infrastructure development, and sustainability. Using recent economic data and policy initiatives, this study outlines strategic pathways for inclusive and sustainable growth leading up to 2047. The analysis reveals that while Uttar Pradesh has made significant strides across multiple development indicators, addressing structural challenges related to employment informality, regional disparities, climate vulnerability, and skill mismatches is critical for realizing its full potential as a driver of India's national development agenda.
