Abstract
Psychological well-being is an excellent predictor of health and long-term success in adulthood. It correlates adversely with sickness and positively with lifespan and socially acceptable behavior. Meaning in life, the lack of bodily symptoms, a good self-concept, self-esteem, personal control, mental health, sociability, and general intelligence are all indicators of psychological wellbeing. However, all forms of addiction have a negative impact on psychological well-being. Adolescents are particularly vulnerable to addiction. The primary goal of the study is to determine the impact of drug use on psychological health and its many dimensions. The study indicated that drug usage harms youngsters' psychological wellbeing. The substance non-user group scores much higher in psychological health, satisfaction, sociability, and mental health characteristics than the drug user group.
