Abstract

Human rights represent fundamental safeguards that uphold human dignity and establish the necessary conditions for every individual to realize their full personal potential. Social justice focuses on securing equitable treatment and equal standing for all people and groups across society. The present paper explores the notions of human rights and social justice, underscoring the critical importance of both concepts. Social justice functions as a core foundation for fostering peaceful and thriving collaboration within societies and between nations, whereas human rights constitute inherent entitlements that individuals hold simply by virtue of their humanity. These rights possess universal scope and transcend national boundaries, remaining applicable in every corner of the world. A wide range of violations and challenges related to these principles continue to emerge, highlighting the urgent need to increase public understanding of the indispensable role played by human rights and social justice. In addition to providing a broader examination, this study will outline the mechanisms available for safeguarding human rights at both the international and domestic levels. The global pursuit of social justice draws heavily upon international human rights instruments, which enshrine essential rights and freedoms for all persons regardless of their situation or background. Through this analysis, the paper investigates the close interdependence between such legal frameworks and the realization of social justice, with the ultimate aim of contributing to a more equitable and inclusive global community.
